What is Functional Fitness?

Wake up early or come in the afternoon and join us for this class, our unique fusion of fitness and fun that’ll have your heart pumping in no time.

Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports.

While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability.


In the classes we do strength training using bodyweight exercises, dumbbells, barbells and kettlebells. We do exercises like squats, deadlifts, swings, power cleans, front squats and overhead squats, to name a few. We then mix it in with some cardio training on the air runners, air bikes, ski ergs and rowers to give you a fun, full body high intensity workout that works your whole body every session.

Great for getting fit, getting leaner and stronger.​

What we offer

We have various membership options help you reach your health and fitness goals.

We have various types of  functional fitness classes that you can pick from. General functional fitness, Calisthenics and a Bootcamp style class.

What do you get?

  • Classes are an hour long. 

  • Free bonus Saturday morning open class.

  • Bronze package - 2 weekday classes plus a Saturday for only R750pm.

  • Silver Package - 3 Weekday classes plus a Saturday for only R950pm.

  • Platinum Package - Unlimited classes plus a Saturday for only R1100pm.

  • Functional Fitness Add on 
  • Add Functional fitness 2 x per week to another option for R400

  • Open Gym - If you want to use the facility on your own without attending classes. R550pm or R400 as an addon.

  • Family discounts available for 2+ family members.

Class times

Monday - Friday 5:00 - 6:00 and 6:00 - 7:00.

Monday - Thursday 16:30, 17:30 and 18:30.

Saturday open class 7:30 - 8:30.
