Full Functional fitness gym and Martial arts Dojo
Our facility is one of the best gyms in South Africa when it comes to martial arts and functional fitness training. We have several World Champion coaches and offer a fully equipped functional fitness gym, as well as a fully equipped martial arts dojo with everything from a boxing ring, heavy bags, pads and padded floors. We also have full bathrooms with showers, a smoothie/coffee bar and reception area.
Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports.
While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability.
Boxing and Boxfit classes are excellent for getting fit and toned.
The boxing class is more technique orientated with partner drills and sparring. We cater for the boxfit members in the boxing class as well, when the boxing class does sparring they will be split up from the general class.
Kickboxing! The word itself speaks volumes about this fresh style of martial arts, which is no-nonsense and sleek style. It is a martial art which blends the grace of boxing with the powerful maneuvers of kicking styles.
Developed and refined during years of conflict, Krav-Maga emphasizes easy-to-learn techniques that have been battle-tested in real life, threatening situations. These training methods have been used by Israel's most elite combat units and proven effective time and time again. One will learn how to use any object with which to defend oneself, such as bags, keys, sand etc.
BJJ is based on grappling techniques that immobilizes the opponent. It teaches joint locks, chokeholds, and the art to beat an opponent having more physical prowess.
